The Camilo Cienfuegos Gorriarán school, in Puerto Padre, will function as a "Summer Center", during the months of July and August, for girls and boys whose parents occupy vital positions in production, services or defense, a condition that excludes them from the mass holiday stage.The initiative of the Education System, in Puerto Padre, seeks to protect the performance of the working mother during the summer period and guarantee the custody of the child in an environment of healthy and instructive fun.
The services of the "Summer Center", instituted in the Camilo Cienfuegos Gorriarán school, of the Villa Azul, are designed to benefit students of the municipal seat, from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon, and includes food guarantee, recreational activities within the campus and visits to museums, parks and historical sites of the locality.
Tomorrow, July 10, the Camilo Cienfuegos Pioneers Palace, located in the municipal capital, begins to function as a summer village, with a program that includes visits to beaches, historic and cultural sites, said to this digital publication, Eloida Basulto Rodríguez, Director of the Institution.
Every year, by this date, the collective of the educational center transforms its classrooms into dormitories to welcome children and guides of the José Martí Pioneers Organization, whose teaching facilities are located in the rural area of the territory.
Between the conceived route, the exchange with schoolchildren of other municipalities of the province is also announced that in the same period they stay in the Camp of Marine Pioneers Zara Lafita Zayas, of Cayo Juan Claro, and includes the approach to the local history, through museums, tarjas and other prominent sites in the fighting traditions of the town of Puerto Padre.
Special moment reserves the event of July 15, Children's Day, coinciding with the 43rd anniversary of the founding of the Children's Palace.
Eloida Basulto Rodríguez, director of the entity, said that the stay of pioneers and guides based in the rural area, will be a propitious moment to carry out promotional actions related to road culture, sex education, drug prevention and vocational guidance.
